Assignment 8: Course Reflection

Assignment50 points

Write a course reflection of 800 to 1,000 words. This is separate from the Part 3 reflection on your plan; here the subject is your learning across the whole course.

Prompts

  1. Definition, revisited. Reread your answer to "what is instructional design?" in the pre-course survey. Write your definition now. What changed and why?
  2. The cases. Compare your Crestview and Pinewood analyses. What did you do differently in the second one, and what does the difference say about how your judgment developed?
  3. Objectives 1 to 7. The course listed seven objectives on the welcome page. Rate yourself on each (1 to 5) and give evidence from your work for the two you rate highest and the one you rate lowest.
  4. Models and their limits. Which idea from the course do you now doubt or want to qualify? Every model in this course has critics; join them for a paragraph.
  5. Next. What will you design next, and which two things from this course will you use first?

Submission

PDF or Google Doc link. First person. AI-use disclosure if applicable; the reflection must be your own writing.
