Assignment 7, Part 2: Evaluation Plan and Peer Review

Assignment75 points

Design the evaluation for your instructional plan and complete two peer reviews.

Part A: Evaluation plan (50 points)

Write an evaluation plan for the instruction described in your Part 1 plan. It must include:

  1. Formative evaluation. The stages you will run (one-to-one, small group, field trial, expert review), or a justified adaptation for your context. For each stage: participants and how you will select them, instruments (attach or describe the observation protocol, think-aloud prompts, attitude survey, posttest), data you will collect, and the decision rules you will use to decide what to revise.
  2. Summative evaluation. The Kirkpatrick levels you will measure and why; instruments and timing for each; a baseline or comparison strategy; who receives the report and what decision it informs. If you measure level 3 or 4, explain how you will address alternative explanations.
  3. Logistics and ethics. Who does what, when, at what cost; consent, privacy, and data storage.
  4. Reporting. An outline of the summative report.

Length: 1,200 to 1,800 words plus instruments in an appendix.

Part B: Peer reviews (25 points)

Complete the peer review form for your two assigned peers in the Peer Review Exchange, and respond to the reviews you received. Submit copies of your two completed forms with Part A.
