Congratulations. You have composed, produced, scored, written, directed, and choreographed with generative AI as a collaborator, and you have built a lesson that brings one of those experiences to your future students.

When every row is checked, the instructor will issue your certificate of completion within one week. The certificate names the seven competencies and the four artifact types you produced.

Compare your self-assessments

Open your pre-course and post-course self-assessments side by side. Where did you move the most? Where did you not move? A rating that stayed the same is worth a sentence in your teaching portfolio: it tells you what to practice next.

Take it further

Build your portfolio. Choose your three strongest artifacts and write a one-paragraph teaching statement about GenAI in the arts to accompany them.
Run the lesson. Teach your final project lesson in a practicum or with a volunteer group. Collect student artifacts (with permission) and reflect on what changed from plan to practice.
Join the conversation. Professional organizations for music and theater educators now host AI interest groups and conference sessions. Bring your artifacts.
