GENAI 101 - Module 1: Music

Music Module Reflection

Assignment20 points

Write a reflection of 500 to 750 words on your work across the four music lessons. Use your Music Module Notes: the prompts you saved, the evaluation grids, and the reflection prompts you answered after each lesson.

Prompts to address

Address all four; use headings so the reader can find each one.

  1. Growth. Choose two of the seven competencies. For each, describe one specific moment in the module where you exercised it and what you would do differently now.
  2. The tool and you. Where did the AI tools add something you could not have made alone, and where did your musicianship correct or override them? Give one concrete example of each.
  3. Ethics in practice. Restate the classroom rule you proposed in Lesson 1.4. Has working through the whole module changed it? Why or why not?
  4. Transfer. Pick one of the four artifacts. Describe how you would adapt the activity for a specific grade level and class you might teach, including one modification for a student with limited access to technology at home.

Submission

Submit a PDF or a Google Doc link. Include your name, the module, and the date at the top. Write in first person. You may use a text model to check clarity, but the reflection must be your own writing; a reflection that reads as AI-generated will be returned unmarked.
